Kamala Khan was once a normal Pakistani-American girl in New Jersey who had an obsession with the career of Carol Danvers, a.k.a. Captain Marvel. When she was a teenager, a cloud of Terrigen Mists fell on the Jersey Shore, and she was accidentally exposed. When she awoke from Terrigenesis, Kamala discovered she had morphogenetic power that allowed her to alter her appearance, regenerate from injuries, elongate her body, and alter her mass at will. Out of respect for her hero, Kamala took up the mantle of Ms. Marvel. She adds her strength to groups of heroes like the Avengers and Champions, where her idealist attitude and encyclopedic knowledge of heroes comes in handy… not to mention the smackdown of her embiggened fists.

Forced into the employ of the Marauders, Gambit had an unwitting hand in the destruction of the Morlocks. Wracked by guilt, his life of wandering ended when he met Storm and him finding a new family as one of the X-Men. Now fighting to protect others, he dishes out punishment with his bo staff and trademark playing cards. With a little kinetic enhancement, Gambit always has the winning hand.

Soviet-era experiments intending to create a super-soldier on par with Captain America resulted in the creation of Omega Red. Once the Russian criminal Arkady Gregorivich Rossovich, Omega Red is the product of extensive and invasive experiments that transformed him into a dangerous weapon. The experiments implanted carbonadium tendrils into Omega Red’s body, an alloy almost as strong as adamantium, which act as his primary weapons. However, a side effect is that the radioactive carbonadium is slowly poisoning him. Omega Red must feed on the life force of others to temporarily preserve himself, which he does by wrapping his foes in his tendrils and feasting on their life force to sustain his own. Whether he is fighting enemies, working for criminal masterminds, or killing to stay alive, Omega Red is a powerful and dangerous opponent.
