When the Russian Mafia went looking for subjects for an experimental bio-weapon procedure, Aleksei Sytsevich was eager to volunteer. And once the organic rhino-skin suit was grafted to him successfully, the Rhino was ready to rampage!

With a durable second skin grafted all over his body, the aptly named Rhino became stronger, tougher, and inured to pain. Unfortunately for his criminal masters, it made him no less stubborn. Aleksei quickly quit working for anyone but himself and began a string of petty crimes as he charged through NYC. Though the resident web-heads routinely bust his heists, the Rhino is always raring to charge back into the fray.
