Star Wars: Legion Ministrav Card Update

11/15/2025

Greetings Star Wars™: Legion players, and welcome to another Atomic Mass Games Transmission!

We’ve packed this transmission full of new and exciting Star Wars: Legion content, all available to download now from our website at https://www.atomicmassgames.com/swlegiondocs! Let’s dive in!

New Battle Cards

New Battle Cards have arrived! These Battle Cards are available now as Print and Play content and will be appearing with even more new Battle Cards in a future physical product.

Outflank is a new Primary Objective Card, which allows players to designate a portion of their army to deploy off of the short battlefield edges, potentially striking the enemy at a weak point in their defenses!

The new Secondary Objective Card Supply Run is an homage to the old mission Recover the Supplies and has players racing to grab Supply Caches in Contested Territory and bringing them back to POIs.

<<BLACK OPS, COMMAND OVERRIDE, COORDINATED STRIKE, NO TIME TO LOSE>>

Also included are 4 new Advantage Cards, each specific to one of the game’s four factions. These new Advantage Cards grant powerful effects that lean into each faction’s identity, like the Rebel’s No Time to Lose granting additional ways to spend Pass tokens, or the Republic’s Coordinated Strike highlighting the combined arms tactics of the Clone army.

These new Battle Cards add additional variety to the army building and mission building process and offer new exciting ways to play Star Wars: Legion. More Battle Cards will continue to be added to the game over time in future updates and products.

New Upgrade Cards

This update also adds four brand-new Upgrade Cards to the game! Each of these Upgrade Cards features a character from one of the game’s four factions and allows them to be attached to units as a Heavy Weapon upgrade. These cards further expand on the design philosophy of cards like Ahsoka Tano, Jedi Padawan and Del Meeko, by inviting players to include more of their favorite characters in their armies. This is a trend that will continue with future releases, so expect to see even more of these over time!

Cassian Andor can lead a Rebel Corps unit on a Secret Mission and help them maintain a Low Profile while doing so. If their cover is blown, however, they can flip their card and “go hot,” changing their Courage to “-” and gaining Uncanny Luck 1. Cassian Andor is ready to make ten men feel like a hundred and accomplish the mission, no matter the cost!

Agent Kallus can be equipped by an Imperial Corps of Special Forces unit, lending his trusty JT-19 Bo-Rifle to the unit’s Attack Pool and granting the Demoralize 1 keyword. Like any good ISB agent, Kallus always gets his man and can exhaust his card as a free action to give an enemy unit he is Engaged with 2 Immobilize tokens.

Clone Captain Rex accompanies his brothers into battle, attaching to any Republic Corps Clone Trooper unit. In addition to raising their Courage by 1, he also grants the unit Command and Training upgrade slots. Always eager to press the initiative, Rex’s unit may make a free action after defeating an enemy unit.

Kraken ensures that one of your Separatist Corps Droid Trooper units always operates at peak efficiency by upgrading 1 attack die for each miniature in the unit that was previously defeated, as well as ensuring the unit always follows commands by losing the AI keyword. Like the other three Upgrade Cards, Kraken allows the unit to take an additional Heavy Weapon upgrade, allowing players to take both Kraken and the Heavy Weapon of their choice in the same unit.

These new Upgrade Cards are available to download now as Print and Play content and will be appearing alongside more new Upgrade Cards in a future physical product.

New Battle Forces

Last but not least, two new Battle Forces are coming to Star Wars: Legion: the 212th Attack Battalion and the Stormtrooper Battalion!

The 212th Attack Battalion is a new Battle Force for the Galactic Republic that highlights the Clones led by Obi-Wan Kenobi and Clone Commander Cody. Whether they are conducting armored assaults spearheaded by Saber-class Tanks or ARF Trooper–led clandestine reconnaissance, the 212th Attack Battalion exemplifies the combined arms nature of the Clone army, with a particular focus on Vehicles. Their Battle Force special rule shows the strong synergy between Trooper and Vehicle units by allowing Vehicles to spend Aim, Dodge, or Surge tokens on other allied Vehicles within Range 2, or Aim and Dodge tokens on allied Clone Trooper units within Range 2. The 212th’s Command Cards showcase the battalion’s tactics by providing units with Infiltrate, Scout, Observe, and more. To top it all off, the Battle Force allows players to bring up to three units with the Heavy Rank to the battlefield instead of the normal two.

The Stormtrooper Battalion is a new Battle Force for the Galactic Empire that focuses on perhaps the most iconic symbol of Imperial might, the Stormtrooper. While this new Battle Force may have a limited selection of units and does not have any new Command Cards, it empowers the Stormtroopers to do what they do best. The Battle Force’s special rule gives non-unique Commander and Operative units Target 2 and additionally gives them 1 Surge token when they are issued an Order. These tokens can be passed down the chain of command to the Stormtrooper units by using the Exemplar and Aid keywords, ensuring the Stormtroopers have their Aim tokens precisely when they are needed. Discipline is paramount to the Imperial forces, and units with the Commander Rank in the army have Compel while they are the nominated Commander. While the Stormtrooper Battalion can only take 0–2 Special Forces units and 0–2 Heavy units, players may bring up to 3 Commander units and up to 7 Corps units with which to crush their opponents and restore order to the galaxy.

In addition to these two new Battle Forces, we have also updated the unique upgrades section on several Battle Forces to account for new Upgrade Cards.
