Legion Weekly Play

04/17/2026

Hello again and welcome to another Atomic Mass Games Transmission! Today we’re going
to be taking a stroll through the new Weekly Play kits for STAR WARS: Legion you can find at
your FLGS!

The first time you play a game at your local store, talk to the event organizer to get a
redemption card – these are effectively punch cards that track when you play a game, paint
some miniatures, or engage with your community. Each week you can receive two punches
– once you do, make sure to get a Weekly Play booster pack from your event organizer!
These packs contain 3 random promotional cards.

These cards could be anything from an alternate art, a special holographic or foil treatment
or even ultra rare versions of cards with extra special treatments and art – here’s a sneak
peek at a few of the cards, but you’ll have to hang around your local store or get lucky and
snag one yourself to see them all!

Each week you come back to your FLGS and earn more stamps, and thus another pack of
promo cards – but fear not avid players – there are many such packs on the horizon. Each
set of promotional cards is in rotation for about 3 months. After that the packs will change
and along with it their contents! New opportunities await in each set to collect sets of
character command cards or unit cards, each set with new and exciting art options and
fancy overlay treatments.

Each rotation of weekly play sets is not all inclusive of every faction in Legion, which allows
card rarity in a specific rotation to properly be spread across the characters featured in that
specific set.

For example, the second rotation of cards heavily features Galactic Republic cards, while
no cards for that faction are present in the first rotation. As another example, Galactic
Empire cards are available in the first rotation but not the second (though Boba Fett is
featured in the second set, so Imperial players can still seek out a non-faction mercenary
choice).

Until next time, this is Atomic Mass Games signing off!
