Databank Download – Delta Dossier: Boss

07/30/2025

During the Clone Wars, the Galactic Republic relied on specialized units to handle the most dangerous and high-stakes missions. Among them, Delta Squad stood out as one of the Republic’s most elite clone commando teams. Trained from birth for high-risk operations, these commandos executed covert strikes, search-and-rescue missions, and targeted eliminations with unmatched precision. From retrieving fallen Jedi on Devaron to dismantling enemy installations, Delta Squad proved time and again why they were one of the Republic’s most valuable assets.

Now, in Star Wars™: Shatterpoint, Delta Squad brings that same level of tactical expertise to the tabletop. Let’s kick things off with the skipper, Boss.

Designated RC-1138, Boss was the level-headed and battle-hardened leader of Delta Squad. With a commanding presence and a keen tactical mind, he kept his team focused under extreme pressure, ensuring every mission was executed with military precision. His ability to assess a battlefield and direct his squad accordingly made him an indispensable force on the front lines.

In Star Wars: Shatterpoint, Boss leads by example with his Tactics Ability, Hang Tight Trooper, Delta Squad on Our Way, granting him and all Delta Squad members within Range 4 a Dash. This keeps the squad highly mobile, ensuring they can move around swiftly and stay on target.

His Active Ability, Delta, Give Me An Explosive Solution, costs 2 Force and offers a creative way to keep his team moving while controlling the battlefield. It provides mobility options for his fellow Clone Troopers while punishing any foe caught in the blast radius. This makes it a tactical tool for disrupting enemy positioning while enhancing Delta Squad’s effectiveness.

With Let’s Get in There and Start Breaking Things, When Boss would Dash, he can take 1 damage to Advance instead. If he would Advance, he can take 2 damage to Reposition. This ability gives Boss unprecedented movement flexibility, allowing him to close gaps, adjust positioning, or escape unfavorable situations at the cost of a little damage. Sometimes the mission requires pushing past your limits and Boss is no stranger to taking risks to get the job done.

His Identity, You Need to Learn I’m A Lot Scarier Than You Are, reinforces his aggressive, mission-focused approach. For every 3 damage he has taken, he adds an extra die to his attack rolls. This means that as the fight drags on, Boss becomes even deadlier, punishing enemies for every wound they inflict on him. Speaking of getting deadlier, when he eventually does wound an enemy, he refreshes 2 Force ensuring that his allies always have the resources to press the attack. Talk about leading by example.

As mission parameters rapidly develop, Boss’s Rapid Fire stance keeps him agile in combat, allowing him to lead Delta Squad with precision while laying down consistent damage. Paired with his movement options, this makes him a dangerous presence on the battlefield.

When the mission calls for a more aggressive approach, Boss shifts into Wet Work, where he delivers devastating attacks while applying debilitating conditions. With the ability to deal up to 9 damage in a full combat tree, he ensures that even in close quarters, Delta Squad remains a force to be reckoned with.

That’s it for today’s deep dive on Boss and how he leads Delta Squad in Star Wars: Shatterpoint! Be sure to check back tomorrow as we continue our look at another member of Delta Squad and how they bring their unique skills to the battlefield.
