2026-2027 Grand Tournament Schedule

It is the moment many of you have been waiting for. We are proud to announce our official Grand Tournament schedule for the 2026-2027 season!

If you are new to Grand Tournaments, here is a quick overview. Atomic Mass Games Grand Tournaments are our yearly competitive events held at major conventions and organized play gatherings around the world. These events represent the highest level of competition we offer, giving players the chance to test their skills both within their local region and on a global stage.

Grand Tournaments are available for the following game lines:

• Star Wars^TM: Legion
• Star Wars: Shatterpoint
• Marvel: Crisis Protocol

Each game system has its own dedicated Grand Tournament Rules Packet. These documents explain exactly how a Grand Tournament must be run for that specific game. Once an organizer is selected to host a Grand Tournament, they will receive the appropriate packet directly from Atomic Mass Games.

At their core, all Grand Tournaments use a Swiss style format. The goal is to keep the experience as close as possible to standard organized play, while still offering a higher level of challenge. This helps make the transition from store level events to Grand Tournaments feel natural and familiar for players who want to push themselves further.

Each game line also has a Standard Tournament Document that supports Grand Tournament play:

Star Wars: Legion Galactic Conquest Event Document
Star Wars: Shatterpoint Premier Showdown Event Document
Marvel: Crisis Protocol Challenger Event Document

Grand Tournaments are run over a set number of rounds based on the size of the event. These details are outlined in the General Tournament Documents. A Grand Tournament requires a minimum of 32 players and will always include at least five total rounds.

Please note that while 32 players is the minimum requirement for an event to qualify as a Grand Tournament, selection is not guaranteed at that number. Final selections are based on several factors, including regional balance, event distribution, and local player population.

At Atomic Mass Games, we believe strongly in rewarding players for playing games, not just for winning them. Because of this, Grand Tournament rewards are structured so that players earn rewards for each game they complete. A rough first round does not remove the chance to earn exciting rewards. This encourages players to stay, keep playing, and enjoy the full event experience together!

We also want to take a moment to say thank you. We received a huge number of applications this year, and it was genuinely exciting to see that level of interest. Unfortunately, we are not able to accept every submission. If you applied and were not selected, we truly appreciate the time and effort you put in. We encourage you to apply again next year as we are always looking for ways to expand the program in future seasons.
