Scene to Stats: Mandalorian Warriors

05/20/2026

“I’m a simple man making his way through the galaxy, like my father before me.”

–   Boba Fett, to Din Djarin

Mandalorians may be scattered across the galaxy, but their spirit lives on. Whether within hidden coverts, secluded palaces, or roving bands of mercenaries, Mandalorians bring foundlings and initiates into the fold to train in the ways of their warrior culture and to uphold their clans’ mighty legacies. While they generally avoid open conflict and the attention of the galaxy at large, a clan may be called into battle to protect their own, or for a worthy prize. Read on for more in today’s Scene to Stats, where we explore the upcoming Mandalorian Warriors unit expansion, coming very soon to your STAR WARS: Legion!

Mandalorian Initiates can come from many walks of life: youthful & fledgling warriors eager to honor their lineage, or adopted foundlings hungry to prove themselves and earn the respect of the other warriors. Their Unit Card is deceptively sparse; while there is no printed unit keyword, their choice of clan will grant them a powerful effect that allows them to support one another and the rest of your Battle Force. Mandalorian Initiates are the largest unit available in the Mandalorian Clans Battle Force thanks to the Mandalorian Initiates Squad Upgrade Card, and bring impressive firepower at Range 2 and Range 3, that can be boosted further with a Heavy Weapon upgrade or the presence of allies from their same Affiliation! While they have not yet earned the jetpack and full beskar of their mentors, the Mandalorian Initiates fight with all the mettle one would expect from the next generation of Mandalore’s finest.

Mandalorian Warriors make up the backbone of the Mandalorian Clans Battle Force, bringing more experience and more lethal equipment than the new inductees. They feature improved Courage and a more powerful Melee attack, further bolstered by the Duelist keyword, which will often be fueled by Aim or Dodge tokens generated by their clan’s keywords, such as Clan Saxon’s Victory or Death, and Clan Wren’s We Might for Our Family! Mandalorian Warriors used their famed skill with the personal jetpack to navigate your battlefields with their Jump 2 keyword, and feature an Armament upgrade icon to equip the GALAAR-15 Carbines, boosting their Ranged weapons to Range 3 with no need for Long Shot, reserving their Aim tokens for other effects.

The Mandalorian Warriors, Fire Support unit brings practiced overwatch and measured firepower to protect their clan. Thanks to the Heavy Weapon Team keyword, this unit will always be led by a Heavy Weapon miniature, which can be the GALAAR-90 Sniper Rifle miniature or any of the other Heavy Weapons to follow! Using their Sharpshooter 1 keyword, these warriors are able to wield the clan’s arsenal with peerless efficiency, laying covering fire from the rear of your forces, or using their Jump keyword to trap their quarry in a brutal cross-fire.

The Clan Kryze Veterans are a brand new Special Forces unit, playable both within the Mandalorian Clans Battle Force and without as Mercenaries for the Rebel Alliance and the Galactic Republic. A highly-trained and close-knit fighting force, their Tactical 1 keyword combines with their impressive Blaster Pistols and GALAAR-15 Carbines for powerful Attack Pools at any Range, and perfectly kicks off their Mandalorians are Stronger Together keyword when near another allied unit with the same keyword! As a Special Forces unit they have access to more advanced armaments than other Mandalorian Troopers, such as the GALAAR-90 Sniper Rifle previewed above.

This unit expansion includes a number of Heavy Weapon upgrade options: the GALAAR-90 Sniper Rifle pictured prior as well as the SHUKUR-05 Repeater and the Micro-Grenade Launcher. Notably, all of these upgrades have very flexible unit restrictions, and can be equipped to both units within this expansion as well as to your other Mandalorian Troopers! The SHUKUR-05 Repeater features the Overwhelm keyword, applying additional Suppression to a defender if an Aim token is spent during that attack. The Micro-Grenade Launcher features a shorter Ranged attack, but the risk is one Mandalorians are likely to take to apply the Blast keyword to scour the enemy from their defenses.
